Running
One of the hardest aspects of running can be the breathing. You need to find your rhythm.  I ran cross country for years and never really found my stride until I joined the military years ago and learned running cadence.  I don't call it out loud when I run now, but I sure do call it in my head.  Cadence keeps your breathing steady and constant.  It's also very motivating.  It moves the military - doesn't it?   :)   I have a CD that I'd be happy to loan to anyone who wants to copy it.  If you're just starting to run - WAY TO GO!!  Don't worry about breaking any land records.  At first, just get out there and try to run for "X" amount of minutes.  Don't even think about how far it is just yet.  Slowly increase that time each time you run by 1 minute.  Within in no time you're cruising along.  Also, take the plunge and get a set of GOOD running shoes.  Trust me, I am a bargain shopper - but there's no sacrificing good equipment.   Every time that I buy a new pair of shoes, I also grab a pair of insoles that Lady footlocker sells.  I don't know the brand, but they're less than $20 and green and they feel like heaven in a shoe.  Even a good running show comes with a horrible insole - they don't expecet that you'll keep it.  Every journey begins with a step.  You CAN do it.  Divas are determined.  Happy training!

Jason - Of course you can get a copy of the CD.  My lap top doesn't have a burner and my desk top is on the fritz.  I can loan it to you so you can make a copy of you like.  Email me your email address & contact info at my address:  kiwi1377@msn.com
